  • Duke Alumni Association Class Gift Distribution
    DAA is giving away free Class of 2013 ties and tote bags for graduating seniors, graduate and professional students.  Come to our tents on the Plaza near the entrance to the Bryan Center from 12-4 p.m. on Thursday, May 9 and Friday, May 10.  Will will also give you your Duke alumni card, which gives you access to campus facilities and discounts.

Thursday, May 9

  • Back to East Brunch
    Thursday morning, graduating undergraduate seniors will get a chance to return for a final brunch at the Marketplace on East Campus to kick off Commencement Weekend.  The brunch will consist of a large all-you-can-eat buffet catered by Bon Appetite, music, and more.  This is the once in a lifetime opportunity to stop by and enjoy one final Marketplace meal and reconnect with old friends.  Cost is $12.50 per person, or $15 per person with with an accompanying mimosa toast, payable with Food or Flex.
    Pay in advance to avoid waiting in line on Thursday, May 9.

    Graduating professional and graduate school students will have the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to climb to the top of Duke Chapel.  Students can go up only in groups of 20, so please anticipate a short wait.  Please note:  This is a "climb", and the elevator will not be in operation.  (Only graduating students will be permitted to the top of the Chapel; please bring your Duke Card)  No registration is necessary.  Event information will be available soon on Facebook.
