Conference/Event Space Descriptions

Duke in Washington Conference Room
The Duke in Washington Conference Room is located inside the Duke in Washington office and seats 22 around an open square, with room for 5 additional chairs around the perimeter.  Seats about 35 in a lecture style configuration.  A small group breakout room that seats 6-10 is also available.

The room is equipped with basic A/V capabilities, Skype, Movi, Cisco C-20 video-conferencing, and a 70" cable-connected flat screen.

No fee is associated for use by Duke-affiliated groups.

Families USA Villers Conference Room
The Villers Conference Room can hold 30 seated around a table (about 50 with perimeter seating) and around 70 in a recption-style set-up.

The room is equipped with a projector, pull-down screen, mic hookups.

Fees for use: $400 for full day, $250 for 1/2 day.  No fees associated with use after 5pm.

1201 New York Ave Conference Facility
The conference facility of 1201 New York Ave is located in the lobby of the building, just to the right of the reception desk.  The facility consists of a larger conference room that seats 25 around a table, a small conference/breakout room that seats 8, and adjacent bathrooms.

The facility is available free of charge to Duke-affiliated groups and is available from 8:30am - 5:30pm, M-F.

1201 New York Ave Lobby
The lobby of 1201 New York avenue is also available for large cocktail receptions after business hours, free of charge for Duke-affiliated groups.
