Reservations:

Use of the Duke in Washington Office is reserved for Duke-affiliated groups and individuals. To reserve a conference room, event space, or swing office, please visit our reservations page.   Reservations are confirmed ONLY upon confirmation from Landy Elliott.

Building and Office Access:

The 1201 New York Avenue external entrance and elavators are open Monday-Friday 8:00am - 6:00pm. The Duke in Washington Office is open Monday-Friday 9:00am - 5:00pm. 

Temporary keys are available for groups and individuals using the conference rooms and swing offices.  Please contact landy.elliott@duke.edu to reserve a key.

Groups hosting events in the Duke in Washington office will need to designate an individual to let attendees enter the building and access the elevators after 6pm.  Please contact Landy (email above) with questions.

Set up/Clean up:

Groups using the conference rooms are responsible for setting up the room as desired. All tables, chairs, and A/V equipment must be returned to the state in which you found it before use. Please dispose of all garbage in the cans provided.

If using the Villers Conference Room after business hours, please place all trash outside the 2nd door for the cleaning crew to pick up.

Deliveries/Catering:

Caterers and deliveries must use the loading dock located next to the parking garage at 1225 I street.  The Loading Dock is for deliveries only and vehicles parked in the Loading Dock for more than 20 minutes will be ticketed and towed.

Hosts are responsible for providing all utensils, plates, cups, napkins, etc.
