Pilgrimage: A Haitian Benefit Concert

Erol Josue, the New York-based musician, dancer and Haitian Vodou priest who is nicknamed the “prince of Haitian roots music,” will perform at 8 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 6, in Baldwin Auditorium on East Campus.

The event is free and open to the public, though tickets are required. Tickets are available online at tickets.duke.edu or at the door. A $10 donation is requested and proceeds will be donated to Haitian earthquake victims through the Red Cross.

A Q&A will follow the performance which is sponsored by the Duke Office of the Vice Provost for the Arts, Duke’s Department of Music, Duke University Stores, cultural anthropology and the department of French and Francophone studies with additional support from The Poster Guys, Whole Food and The Independent Weekly.
