Armed Robbery Reported Near East Campus Union

July 28, 2009On Tuesday, July 28, at approximately 11 p.m., an armed robbery was reported by a student near the service drive leading to the rear of the East Campus Union.

The victim reported being approached by three individuals, one of whom pointed a black handgun and removed several personal items from the student's pockets.

The victim was ordered to lay on the ground as the three suspects fled on foot toward Buchanan St.

One suspect was described as a black male in his mid to late 20s, about 5'10" and of medium build. He was wearing a black ball cap, black shirt with a large white logo possibly a face on the front of the shirt and dark baggy pants.

Another suspect was described as a black male in his mid to late 20s, about 5'10", wearing a long white short sleeve T-shirt.
