Athletic Liason Officers
The Duke University Police Department plays an active role in mentoring Duke athletes through its Athletic Liaison Program.
Sgt. Mark Faust is the liaison for Duke teams, providing crime prevention programming and information, as well as safety when teams play at home or at other college campuses. Members of the Athletic Liaison Program maintain a high level of availability for athletic teams and their fans and build relations on and off the field and court.

Sgt. Faust has worked at Duke since 1994 and works primarily with the football team, traveling with them during away games and spending time at Wallace Wade Stadium for home matchups.
