Template 2 is based on a 2-column grid, with vertical main navigation in a column to the right, which includes contact information under the navigation. The larger left column allows for an attention-grabbing main image, and a large text section with an established hierarchy of headers to assist information flow. Second-level pages have room for a smaller image and third-level pages are available for further content if needed.

The bottom footer contains commonly-used links across Duke University, as well as a showcase of recent videos featured on Duke on Demand. The subfooter below the black bar contains links to duke.edu subpages and icons linked to official Duke social media outlets.

Consistent across all three templates is the Duke brand bar and Duke University title branding, which can be edited with the name of an individual Department or Center. Included in the download is a .psd to assist users in editing the title name.
