I am an assistant professor in the Department of Philosophy at Duke University.
I received my Ph.D in 2010 from the University
of Arizona.
Other temporal parts of my graduate career are located at UNC-Chapel Hill, MIT and Australian National University. I did my undergraduate work where fun goes to die.
I work mainly in metaphysics, with particular interests in causation, time, modality, and existence. I also work on questions at the intersection of causation and ethics.
